Keeping the Smoke in: Basic Electronics for Makers
With platforms like the Arduino and resources like Make:
magazine, it's never been easier to get started in electronics. Having
an understanding of the basics can make your projects go smoother

This workshop introduced folks to the Arduino an inexpensive microcontroller from the Arduino website they describe it this way:
Test & Take!
Arduino for Artists
We're going to have Arduino workshops soon... thanks to the interest of some Studio Bricolage artists and gentle prodding of Monique
