** CLASS FULL** Arduinos for Artists (session two)

Arduinos are small (they fit easily in the palm of your hand) computers (a physical computing platform, actually) that you can program to make your art come alive. Control movement, sound or sight of your art and have it sense and react to almost anything, including you. This can add a new dimension to your work that travels beyond the fourth dimension, constrained only by your imagination!
You don't need prior computer programming but you do need to know how to use your computer for everyday use. Windows, Macs and Linux can all be used with the Arduino computers and software. Bring a laptop if you have one and we'll have desktop computers to use. At the end of the classes you will have a working Arduino and a decent understanding of how to use it to help your art interact with the environment.
Instructors are Willis Bowman, Dan Haeg and Keith Braafladt. This workshop is a collaboration between Studio Bricolage and the Learning Technologies center at the Science Museum of Minnesota.
June 5th and 12th, from 7-10 PM
